Advent Day Of Prayer

Saturday, December 6, 10:00am-2:00pm

Please join Christine Rodgers and Rosemary Robinson for an Advent Day of Prayer on Saturday December 6 from 10:00-2:00 at St. James Episcopal Church, 4620 California Street. Our theme this year is:

Incarnation: Consolation and Disruption.

As we deepen our pilgrimage through Advent, we experience the promised consolation of the Incarnation.  In these challenging times, might we also consider the Incarnation as a kind of disruption--an opportunity to ponder what God is calling us to, both individually and collectively. Our retreat will include music, scripture, poetry, silence liturgy and hospitality as we prepare for the birth of Jesus.

Kindly RSVP to maryofpentecost@gmail.com by Saturday, November 29th if you plan to attend or have any questions.  A simple lunch will be provided and good will offerings will be gratefully accepted. We look forward to seeing you December 6.  All are welcome at our table of love and friendship!
